Whistler weddings are so much fun to photograph with the vast nature that British Columbia has to offer. It is a great place to escape from the city every once in awhile. I love the trees, mountains and water which brings me a lot of inspiration. It also allows me to feel connected with the outdoor surroundings.
Chelsea and I have been friends for over 4 years. We used to work at the same cafe, Timbertrain, and I could not be more stoked when she reached out asking me to document her wedding at Brew Creek Centre in Whistler! I have met some of her family and friends which made the wedding so much more fun and at home, like I am just hanging out with people I know.
Prior to the wedding, we did some engagement photos at Lighthouse Park. We had a great session hanging out, being surrounded by the ocean which was accompanied by the sun setting behind the ocean’s horizon.
Chelsea and James rented a Tesla, and of course we had to take some high class fashion photos of them with the car. The entire day was just filled with laughter and everyone having an amazing time. That is the most important thing at every wedding, to be fully present with your loved ones celebrating this milestone of both your lives.
Kind words from the bride:
“Isaac is an incredibly talented photographer and just one of the best humans! He is a DREAM to work with and he will go to the farthest lengths to capture the perfect shot. Isaac cares about how you want to be photographed and executes it flawlessly. Not to mention, he’s just a cool dude and makes it easy for you to be yourself in front of the camera!”
