The day began in an airbnb loft in Gastown, Vancouver, where Christina prepared for her wedding day in quiet anticipation. Surrounded by exposed brick, floor-to-ceiling windows, and vintage décor, the industrial-chic space set the tone to Christina and Lucas’ Cecil Green Park House wedding.

Cecil Green Park House is located on UBC campus. This historic mansion is a sought-after Vancouver wedding venue for couples craving elegance and natural beauty. With its lush gardens, elegant architecture with the ocean and mountain views, Cecil Green Park House effortlessly reflects a luxurious appearance.

For Christina and Lucas, it was the ideal stage for their vision: a daytime garden celebration.

At the ceremony, simplicity was key. Christina and Lucas stood between floral arrangement in vases on wooden blocks and their guests celebrating and witnessing their marriage.

During cocktail hour, guests were treated to savoury canapés and crafted cocktails by Sage Catering, while the entire garden was serenaded with live music by Musical Occasions, and glasses clanking with the couple.

Rather than a traditional evening reception, they chose a morning ceremony, followed by a lunch reception under the terrace. It’s a refreshing and unique idea if late night partying is not your thing.
