Summer has been great so far with camping, travel trips and engagement sessions with couples done.

Chelsea, James and I spent 2 evenings chasing sunset at Lighthouse Park. I’ve been to Lighthouse Park several times but have never shot there once, and I finally understand why it’s such a beautiful place to photograph at sunset. We wanted to get the light during golden hour but we had just missed it by the time we got there on the first evening and we carried on with the session during twilight (blue hour) which usually happens after the sun sets below the horizon. We really wanted the light at golden hour for photos and knew we had to return to photograph that. So we went back the next evening, and we got what we wanted which I’m glad we did so.

These two are such a treat to hang out with, where laughters and having a great time are involved always. Can’t wait to spend the time documenting their Brew Creek Centre wedding in less than a month!
