A List Of Engagement Photo Locations In Vancouver

Are you searching for engagement photo locations in Vancouver?

I got you! Here is a list of engagement photo locations in the Greater Vancouver, British Columbia.

Before you decide, you have to ask yourselves do you want somewhere with a city/urban or nature setting? For example, if you want something outdoors, there are mountains, forests and a body of water as options to narrow down to. And it’s a matter of how far you’re willing to travel.

Tip: Create an adventure. It could be revisiting the place you both met or went on your first date, somewhere you both spend a lot of time at, or a location that you’ve been dreaming of having your photos taken at. Time is also important, and I recommend having your engagement session done 1-2 hours before sunset or 30mins before sunrise (location dependant).

Another question I get asked a lot is what time and what weather condition is best to get photos done at. An engagement session gives us the flexibility of photographing throughout the day but it also depends on the location. Closer to sunrise, it gives us a softer and warmer light. A cool blue light is casted at dawn and dusk. You will get the best of both! It creates a romantic, soft and cinematic look to your photos. An overcast day is perfect for balanced lighting. If you’re really adventurous and want to brave the rain or snow, go for it! You’ll look like you’re from The Notebook (great movie). But fret not, we will always discuss any back up plan before your engagement session.
